Prista Commerce has obtained the FSSC 22000 certification, one of the most important and rigorous international standards for food safety management systems, recognized by the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI).

This represents an important milestone in the development path of the Bulgarian company that joined the Cereal Docks Group in 2025, confirming its ongoing commitment to ensuring high standards of quality and safety across all stages of its production processes.

Founded in 2011 and operating at its facility in Ruse, in the Danube Plain, Prista Commerce specializes in the processing of dehulled sunflower seeds for the production of protein flours for the food industry, as well as hulled sunflower seeds for snacks and toppings. The company, which employs around twenty people, is located in the Danube Plain, the main sunflower production area in Bulgaria.

The FSSC 22000 certification provides a structured framework for risk analysis and management across the food supply chain, based on HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) principles and on the systematic management of food safety prerequisite programs.

The adoption of this standard strengthens the control of production and logistics processes, ensuring high levels of safety, traceability and reliability in the production of ingredients for the food industry.

In a market that is increasingly focused on product quality and safety, internationally recognized third-party certifications represent a fundamental tool to ensure transparency, reliability and compliance with the standards required by customers and by the main operators in the agri-food supply chain.

Special thanks go to the Prista Commerce team, whose commitment and professionalism made it possible to achieve this important milestone.
