The countdown has begun for the third edition of INNCAMPO, the technical and educational event dedicated to the agricultural sector, organized by the Agronomy Department of Cereal Docks. The initiative aims to foster dialogue among stakeholders across the value chain, focusing on technological innovation, best agricultural practices, and ongoing training.

The 2025 edition will take place on Friday, July 25th, and will center around the conference “Nourish, Mitigate, Innovate: Agriculture at the Heart of Sustainable Transformation.” It will offer a valuable opportunity to reflect on how agriculture can play a pivotal role in addressing the major challenges of environmental, climate, and economic sustainability.

The Program

The event will begin at 1:30 PM with guest registration and the official opening of the exhibition area, set up as always within Ca’ Felicita, Cereal Docks’ open-air “laboratory farm,” where innovative projects on regenerative agriculture are tested and developed.

At 2:30 PM, the main conference will begin, featuring keynote speaker Serena Giacomin — physicist, climatologist, and director of the Italian Climate Network — known for her media work on weather and environmental issues across national TV and radio.

Her presentation, titled “Face to Face with Climate Change: From Risks to Solutions,” will offer a clear and data-driven overview of what can now be considered a process of climate extremization. Drawing on the latest scientific data, Giacomin will examine how climate change is already impacting agriculture and the agri-food sector, and how innovation in agriculture can contribute to mitigating its effects.

Special attention will also be given to the importance of developing adaptation strategies in a sector that is both highly exposed to extreme weather events and uniquely positioned to reduce its environmental footprint.

A Roundtable on the Role of Innovation and Science in Sustainable Agriculture

Following the keynote, a roundtable will bring together respected voices from the scientific, technical, and institutional worlds to explore the role of sustainable innovation in agriculture. In addition to Serena Giacomin, panelists will include Michele Morgante, Professor of Genetics at the University of Udine and Scientific Director of the Institute of Applied Genomics, and Andrea Pietrobelli, Head of the Agronomy Department at Cereal Docks.

The discussion will be moderated by Antonio Boschetti, Director of L’Informatore Agrario, who will also engage in a dialogue with Senator Luca De Carlo, Chairman of the Senate Committee on Industry, Commerce, Tourism, Agriculture, and Agri-Food Production.

The conference will conclude with remarks from Mauro Fanin, President of Cereal Docks, who will emphasize the importance of collaboration across the entire agri-food chain to address future challenges with awareness and shared purpose.

A Full Day of Knowledge and Discovery

Throughout the day, participants will have the opportunity to explore areas dedicated to agronomic trials, learn about the latest technical innovations, discover new crop varieties and inputs, engage with partners in the exhibition spaces, and explore Cereal Docks’ projects focused on regenerative agriculture and sustainability.

INNCAMPO 2025 confirms its role as a key event for those committed to building an agriculture that regenerates and renews itself — grounded in knowledge, collaboration, and a long-term vision.
