“We are what we eat”, said the philosopher Ludwig Feuerbach. Food does not only influence the body, but also the overall balance of a person, wellness, and health. Improving the food we eat also improves our lives. Food is culture, conviviality, sharing. Food is the protagonist of our daily lives, and today there are a myriad of diet trends that answer to the need for healthy eating and aware choices.
The word of the day is: “back to basics”, or a return to simplicity and genuineness. Cereal Docks interprets this change by reinforcing the connection to the earth and farmers, with the objective to cultivate high quality raw materials, produced in a responsible way that is attentive to people, the environment, and biodiversity.
Attention to quality is paramount throughout the entire productive process, guaranteed by a rigorous control system certified by international standards. Never more than today has the world of food become a testing ground for the research and development of innovative products, studied to respond to the demands of consumers for the safest, most genuine products, especially those with natural ingredients.
Cereal Docks is facing in this challenge through its company Cereal Docks Food, founded in 2013 with the objective to create products with high added value, in particular ingredients, food additives and functional blends. The commitment is focused on customer satisfaction and the realization of optimum solutions to meet the requirements of standards that continue to be more and more strict, according to the specific needs of the markets of reference: food, baby food, pharmaceutical, animal feeds, and non-foods, with the highest quality plant lecithin, protein meals and oils.
Grains and seeds obtained through certified organic farming methods in accordance with EC Regulation 834/07 are the focus of our new company, Cereal Docks Organic. Through Cereal Docks Organic, the Group promotes organic production chains that satisfy the need for “added value”, an intrinsic part of the idea of organically grown products, with the objective of increasing the value of products far beyond the requirements set forth in European Regulations.
