The number of final consumers playing an active and conscious role in traceable and sustainable products is growing. On an international scale, several surveys are recording the same trend of responsible and aware purchasing, with the result that the supply chains are required to adapt and provide stronger guarantees of transparency.

Cereal Docks brings its committment to the traced and sustainable supply chains to European Commodities Exchange 2019, the international stock exchange for those involved in the production, processing and marketing of agricultural commodities (Vienna, 17th and 18th October 2019).

New growth prospects for Cereal Docks Organic, part of the Cereal Docks Group focused on organic production: as of 1st August 2019, it has been managing the production plant in via Cappafredda in Roverchiara (VR) under a lease of a business branch.

The revamping in Fiorenzuola d’Arda (Piacenza), a plant founded in the 1970s as the logistics centre of a local feed company, was recently completed. It was purchased in 2009 by Cereal Docks aiming to turn it to a strategic commercial hub in the heart of the Po Valley.
