The AAIC – Association for the advancement of industrial crops, an international non-profit association established to encourage and promote educational and scientific research activities on industrial crops and derived products, is organizing its annual meeting from the 5th to the 9th of September, at the Department of Agricultural and Food Sciences (DISTAL – Viale G. Fanin 44, 40137 Bologna) of the University of Bologna.

This is the Art Bonus campaign “Mecenati di oggi per l’Italia di domani”, with which the Group supports the creation of art exhibitions in the Basilica Palladiana, a three-year project promoted and organized by the City of Vicenza in collaboration with the Accademia Olimpica, the Palladio Museum and the Fondazione Teatro Comunale.
The final day of the Cereal Docks acceleration program at the FoodTech Accelerator DEMODAY is just a few days away. In partnership with Amadori and Finiper, and with the support of Deloitte Officine Innovazione, the program aims to develop actual projects to reinvent the Food, AgriFood and Retail sectors.

On Wednesday November 28th, the Special Days of Cereal Docks officially began to celebrate our holding company’s 35th anniversary, the 5 years of Cereal Docks Food and the launch of Demethra Biotech, a research and development company specialising in the production of plant cell culture products mainly used in the life sciences, food and personal care industries.
7:00pm on January 15, 2018. At Cereal Docks Marghera, Ramses II, the most powerful lighting system with a mobile head in the entire world, was turned on for the first time (72,000 Watts) to celebrate 100 years at Porto Marghera.
Demethra Biotech is the first company of the group to transfer to the new headquarters in Camisano Vicentino at Via dell’Innovazione. In early January 2018, the new offices and laboratories for this innovative company in the biotechnologies sector will be fully operational.
